Fine Arts and Music after 1950

Over 2000 works of art document and illustrate the period of postwar expansion of modern art artistic expression and note the diversity of artistic interests that are unique for the new, postmodern age in which we live. The collection includes paintings, drawings, watercolors, prints, sculptures and reliefs of the second half of the 19th century to the present times.

Jugoexport Legacy

JugoexportThe international trade company Yugoexport, based in Belgrade, gifted to the Belgrade City Museum a collection of 75 paintings and sculptures acquisitioned by purchase from private persons or great art exhibitions. This precious collection includes works of art of extraordinary value made by prominent Yugoslav artists: Sava Šumanović, Uroš Predić, Petar Lubarda, Ivan Meštrović, Risto Stijović, Milo Milunović, Stojan Aralica, Lazar Vozarević, Marko Čelebonović, Nadežda Petrović, Zora Petrović and others.
