Although the department follows the general history of Zemun, preserved archival objects and photographs are related to the history of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth century. Among the most valuable items are old engravings, maps and plans of Zemun, old manuscripts and personal belongings of famous figures in Serbian history.
