The archaeological excavations conducted in 2006 will be remembered for unique pottery finds related to the Vinča culture. The pottery set discovered on the floor of the structure 03/03, which was almost square in shape, without furnaces, fireplaces or other traces of work, consists of a bowl with protoma, a jug and three amphorae, one of which is almost fully preserved. The distinguishing feature of the discovered bowl are eight protoma that look like the heads of figurines, typical of the later stages of the Vinča culture. Two types of protoma can be distinguished on the bowl – heads with stylized horns and heads without any details and with the ‘bird’s face, placed on opposite sides. A jug with a handle, in the shape of a stylized bird's head, was discovered right next to the bowl. The vessels are marked by their ergonomics design, i.e. they are adjusted to the human hand.
