The paining features a shallow brown ceramic vase filled with pink and white roses in full bloom set on a yellow table. The background features a glass wall through which we see rose branches forming an arch. The roses are the only part of the painting rendered in thick paint, making a relief effect. The painting is signed lower right: "B. Vukanović 62".
