Pursuant to Article 47, Paragraph 1, of the Law on Cultural Property and Article 43, Paragraph 1, of the Law on the Government, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has passed a decision on designating the site Crkvine as an archaeological site. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 103, as of September 25, 2014.

During the past several years, the Belgrade City Museum has been involved in the investigation and presentation of this site. This year's investigation campaign is still underway and we expect the latest results of the excavations to be announced soon.
