Passions and Dreams of Italian Fashion: creativity, style and exploration

The visitors to the exhibition have an opportunity to enjoy the unique designs of famous fashion brands, including Gianfranco Ferrè, Marella Ferrera, Gai Mattiolo, Gattinoni, Sorelle Fontana, Giorgio Armani, Enrico Coveri, Laura Biagiotti, Versace, Valentino, Fendi and Renato Balestra.

The exhibited items include the Armani dress worn by Sofia Loren on a red carpet during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Cinecitta film studio; the gown designed by Sorelle Fontana and worn by Ava Gardner in the film The Barefoot Contessa, as well as its more modern version worn by Anita Ekberg in Fellini's La Dolce Vita; the dress Scuola di moda Ida Ferri, displayed while being made, thereby revealing the tailoring process; and the male jacket Luca Litrico, which is only partially finished, enabling us to see the process of making a garment. The same model was designed by Angelo Litrico for Richard Burton.
