The drawer and lithographer is the Romanian photographer Carl Satmarie. The composition was most probably based on the shots of the events of 10/22 August 1872.
The picture captures the moment when the string of carriages pass by the decorated Captain Miša's Mansion in today's Student's Square. The jubilant crowds hail. The guards on horseback were at the head, followed by the carriages with the newly proclaimed ruler and his former Regents. Among the dignitaries who attended was Prince Dolgoruky, envoy of emperor Alexander II of Russia. The Arch of Triumphe, erected for the occasion is in the background.
This plan and panoramic view is a successful combination by the engraver and publisher Mathias Seutter, who was active in Augsburg.
The plan of Belgrade, with an accompanying text giving an account of the history, position and the siege of the town is in the upper, larger and coloured part.
The lower, smaller part contains a picture of the town with several water mills in the river in front of the town.
The work, which may have been either part of an atlas or an independent sheet, is of large size, highly finished technically and full of informative detail.
У другој половини XIX века на европским дворовима је популарно креирање одеће у стилу историцизма. Тај стил постаје присутан и на двору краља Александра и краљице Драге Обреновић. По њеној жељи, све дворске даме и супруге краљевских ађутаната и ордонанс-официра носиле су на дворским баловима хаљине израђене по узору на средњовековну властелинску одећу.
Ова уникатна хаљина је припадала Даници, супрузи Војислава Блазнавца, краљевог ордонанс-официра.
Брош у облику гране био је омиљени део накита богатих Београђанки у XIX веку. Носиле су га на барешу, украсној марами која се стављала око главе, или као брош.
Грана, богато украшена крупним дијамантима, припадала је кнегињи Персиди, супрузи кнеза Александра Карађорђевића. Прстен, поручен за кнегињу Персиду, начињен је у Бечу. Око средњег камена-алмандина је четрнаест брилијаната у дубоком фасунгу. Грана и прстен сачувани су у породици Анке Барловац, која је била блиско везана за династију Карађорђевић.
This goblet vase was given by the British Government to Čedomilj - Čeda Mijatović (1842-1932), who taught at the School of Higher Learning in Belgrade and was the Head of a Department in the Ministry of Finance. He was also a diplomat and writer, and the goblet was presented to him upon ending his mission as His Majesty King Milan Obrenović's Minister in London.
The white goblet's base has its belly decorated both ways: one has flowers and monogram T.V. and the other oval-shaped likeness of Č Čedomilj Mijatović in a laurel garland.
